A native of Lancaster County, Missy has been teaching and choreographing in the industry for 30 years. She has studied in Los Angeles, New York City, and at the University Of The Arts in Philadelphia with numerous teachers over her dance career. Some of her performances include the Dutch Apple Theatre, Kings Productions, The Actors Company of Lancaster, and with Louise and Irlene Mandrell. She continues to educate as well as choreograph regional and national award-winning routines. Missy has also received various choreography awards for competitions over the years. She is trained in all genres of dance but her favorite will always be lyrical and she will forever be grateful for the passion of the late Doug Caldwell for instilling the love of dance in his students. Many of Missy’s students have gone on and can be seen dancing with the Rockettes, Walt Disney World, Cruise Lines, Convention, Teachers, National Tours and much more. Missy is “proud to be a role model for all children and enjoys sharing her talent and passion of dance with all ages.
