Rebecca, “Miss Becca,” began her dance training at age 8 studying ballet, jazz, and modern at The Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore, MD. She also studied with Lancaster School of Ballet as well as performed regularly with the Ballet Theater of Lancaster. After graduating High School she was accepted as a ballet major at The University of Utah in Salt Lake City. In college she expanded her ballet focus to also studying ballroom. She then made the university’s ballroom dance team and competed as an amateur in multiple events. Immediately following college, she began teaching full-time and has been on staff at both the Arthur Murray and Fred Astaire Dance Studios. She has competed nationally in Open Professional American Style Rhythm and currently competes in Pro/Am events with her students across the country. Becca is very active in the community acting as a frequent instructor at Penn Manor High School, choreographer for Hempfield United Methodist Church, dancing in charity events and she also runs her own ballroom studio, City Ballroom. Becca is very excited to be returning to her ballet roots and is excited to be joining Pulse Dance Studio!
